We kept hearing the same thing before our trip: you're either a Barcelona person or a Madrid person, never both. So we went in a little skeptical. What we found was honestly the cleanest, most well kept metropolitan area I've experienced. It's a completely different vibe from Barcelona, not better or worse, just its own thing entirely. The food and coffee scene caught us off guard in the best way, and by the end of the trip, Madrid had fully won us over. This is a city I'd go back to in a heartbeat, and my photos here reflect exactly that.
