Naples is where my husband's family bloodline runs deep, so it was the first official European destination we visited together. It's also the city where we got engaged, which makes it feel like it belongs to us in a different way than anywhere else. I love losing myself in these streets, immersing myself in Neapolitan culture the way his family has for generations. There's a grittiness to Naples that I've come to love completely, and somehow, right alongside it, everything is beautiful beyond words. The people embrace you like family within minutes of meeting you. That's the Naples I try to show.
