New York City is where it all started for me. I was born here, and it's still home to a lot of my family and friends, no matter how far I travel or how long I'm away. This city holds a place in my heart that nothing else really compares to. When I photograph New York, I'm not trying to capture some polished, postcard version of it. I'm documenting the city the way I actually see it, through comfort and through rawness, the parts that feel familiar and the parts that feel real. This isn't a place I'm visiting. It's the place I'll always call home.
